This privacy statement explains our privacy practices for our products and site www.cyinnovations.com “the site” on the World Wide Web. Across our business, around the world, we will only collect, store and use your personal information for defined purposes. We do not distribute or share your personal information beyond what is strictly necessary to fulfill our obligations to you, and then only with partners who adhere to CY Innovations’ commitment to protecting your privacy and data. CY Innovations will not, under any circumstances, rent or sell your personal information.
CY Innovations will ask you when we need information that personally identifies you. CY Innovations will only use your Personally Identifiable Information if you have given us permission to do so. CY Innovations uses your information to support or enhance our relationship with you, for example, to process a purchase, and provide customer service and support. If you opt-in to our mailing program, CY Innovations will share product, service, and CY Innovations news and offerings with you. This is an opt-in service, and CY Innovations will not e-mail you without your consent except to perform maintenance or updates on your software.

What information does CY Innovations gather?
CY Innovations may collect information that can be divided into the following categories: Software Product Purchase and Registration: When a customer purchases any of CY Innovations’ products, we may collect and store some or all of the following information; name, address, telephone number, email address and computer operating system. We use this information to send you communications, including registrations, product updates, new product/services news, informative newsletters, and special offers. CY Innovations keeps your Personally Identifiable Information confidential and does not rent, sell, trade or exchange mailing lists with any organization. CY Innovations maintains this information and will only disclose your Personally Identifiable Information to third parties if acting under good faith belief that such action is necessary to (1) conform to legal requirements; (2) protect and defend the rights or property of CY Innovations; or (3) enforce the CY Innovations Terms of Service Agreement.
CY Innovations DOES NOT store credit card information. If a user chooses to purchase the software online using a credit card, the credit card information is sent using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption, making it completely unreadable as it travels over the Internet. If at any time you would like to make a purchase, but do not want to provide your credit card information online, you may print an order form and post together with payment to CY Innovations.
Technical Support: If you request technical support online, we will ask you for information necessary to respond to your request such as your name, email address, telephone number, and information about your computer hardware, software, and the nature of the problem you are experiencing.
Sales Support: If you request sales support online, we will ask you for information necessary to respond to your request such as your name, email address, and information about your purchase invoice number, the product you ordered, and the nature of your request.
How is this information used?
CY Innovations uses your information to better understand your needs and provide you with the best possible service. Specifically, we use your information to help you complete a transaction, provide you with technical support, update you on services, benefits, and upgrades, and to manage and renew user licenses. Credit card numbers are used only for payment processing and are not stored in our customer database.
CY Innovations may provide an opt-in news service for all customers who wish to periodically receive relevant information. We do not send unsolicited email. When a customer purchases or registers a product, they are given the opportunity to opt-in to our e-mail services. To be removed from our email list, click on the “unsubscribe” link in the body of the email and enter the email address to be removed. We will then update our database, and no further email will be sent to the email address.
You will receive contact from us only (1) in the event of problems fulfilling your order, (2) in response to a technical support call, or (3) for infrequent market research.
You will receive email from us (1) to deliver your serial number if you have disabled cookies, (2) to remind you that trial software is about to expire, and (3) when you have requested our newsletter. If you wish to unsubscribe from the newsletter, follow the instructions at the end of every issue.
If you have provided your postal address, you may receive periodic surface mail with information on new products and services or upcoming events concerning our software products. Please contact us to correct or remove from our records any personal information which concerns you.
If you download an application or otherwise obtain an application which can be deployed onto your computer or network you can register the product by email. We will ask you for information which assists us in identifying you for registration purposes. This information will be used to validate your identity when upgrading your license or seeking technical support.
Your valid Customer ID for the product will be used for identification purposes for all communications with us.
Email, Choice, and Opt-out
With your permission, CY Innovations may send you communication, including informative emails/newsletters about product upgrades, new products, and services. This communication may provide you special offers that may be of interest to you. Users may choose not to participate in our communication program during the registration process. Users who no longer wish to receive CY Innovations communications may “unsubscribe” from our mailing program at any time in the following ways:
- By clicking on the auto-unsubscribe link included in each email
- By replying to unsubscribe in the subject line in each email
- By sending email to our sales team
