The VBM Add-in introduces a new VBM tab on the ribbon for Microsoft Office (2007 or later) Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher as well as Outlook (2007 or later). When first installed the VBM Add-in is activated whenever you start an Office application or Outlook.
The new VBM Office Add-in for Microsoft Office (Version 12 or later) (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher) integrates Advantage VBM into the Ribbon so you can:
– Create a new VBM Office document. The user can choose to create as another file format available for the Office product
– Save a copy of the active document, workbook, presentation or publication into VBM. The user can choose to save as another file format available for the Office product
– Save an active document, workbook, presentation or publication as a new Variant or Version into VBM. The user can choose to save as another file format available for the Office product
– Send the active document, workbook, presentation or publication to a recipient as either a hyperlink or an attachment in an email
– set a reminder for the active document on your Message Board
The new VBM Office Add-in for Microsoft Outlook (Version 12 or later) integrates Advantage VBM into the Ribbon so you can:
– Create a new Outlook email via VBM
– The Outlook Send button prompts a user to save emails into VBM
– Save the active email, email attachments, contact, appointment, task or note into VBM
– Save all selected emails, email attachments, contacts, appointments, tasks or notes into VBM
– Synchronise the VBM Contacts Manager with Outlook contacts including an Exchange public folder contacts lists.
